A note from the creator of this site

This issue should be above politics — above left and right, red and blue.

It is the biggest scandal of my lifetime, and one of the darkest chapters in the history of these great isles. That it was allowed to happen at all — and that it was enabled to continue for so long — shines a light on the rot within our once-great institutions.

I hope this report helps its victims find justice and closure. I hope the perpetrators are punished. And I hope those we trusted to govern us — the people who allowed this to go on — face the consequences.

My heartfelt thanks go to Rupert Lowe, whose determination and courage made this Inquiry possible. To the survivors: your bravery in coming forward and entrusting us with your testimony is humbling beyond words, and this work exists because of you. And to everyone who gave their time, effort and conscience to bring it about — thank you. We owe you all a debt of gratitude.

We all have a part to play in restoring this nation. For my part, I hope this website brings the report to more people.
